Helen Hall Wins the Carole Dorothy Joyce Award for Excellence in Documentary Storytelling for “Pictures of Infinity”

Her Roy W. Dean Grant–winning documentary explores Nikola Tesla’s discovery of Earth’s unlimited natural electricity and his visionary system to harness it

From the Heart Productions is proud to announce that filmmaker Helen Hall has been awarded the Carole Dorothy Joyce Award for Excellence in Documentary Storytelling for her feature documentary Pictures of Infinity — a visually striking and intellectually profound exploration of Nikola Tesla’s discovery that the Earth itself generates an infinite reservoir of natural electricity, and the system he designed to harness it.

Hall, who previously won the prestigious Roy W. Dean Grant, receives $4,000 through this award to support her participation at MIPCOM 2025 in Cannes, where she will pitch her film to investors and distributors from around the world.

Helen’s work is a rare blend of art, science, and spirit — a film that reintroduces Tesla’s forgotten wisdom in a way that is both visionary and urgent for our time,” said Carole Dean, President of From the Heart Productions. “Her storytelling reflects the highest level of creativity and integrity we seek to honor through this award.

About Pictures of Infinity

In Pictures of Infinity, Helen Hall draws upon her background as a composer and sound artist to illuminate Tesla’s experiments in resonance, harmonics, and vibration — principles that mirror the mathematics of music and the hidden structure of nature itself. The film reveals how Tesla’s concept of the “aether” — the living energy field connecting all things — could redefine our understanding of physics, medicine, and the natural world.

Tesla, the great scientist, engineer and humanitarian who powered the world with alternating current electricity, also predicted our present ecological collapse. And so, he dedicated his final years to developing an infinite and clean source of energy.  His work was largely unknown, until recently.

With immersive visuals, exclusive access, and more than 20 years of original research, Pictures of Infinity is the first documentary to reveal Nikola Tesla’s long-hidden blueprint for a sustainable energy future.

Why This Film

Helen explains her inspiration:

“From an early age, I was fascinated with sound and vibration. My studies as a composer led me to the physical basis of music — resonance, harmonics, and tuning — and through that, I developed an intuitive understanding of music as an energy system.

When I discovered Nikola Tesla’s work, I realized his vision of energy was rooted in these same acoustic principles. He saw the universe as alive — a symphony of vibration and resonance. Pictures of Infinity seeks to make this invisible world visible and audible, revealing a path toward harmony between science, nature, and human consciousness.”

Hall’s exploration connects Tesla’s pioneering experiments with a lineage of ancient knowledge — uniting physics, music, and medicine in a rediscovery of the natural order. Her film proposes that understanding energy through vibration and resonance could mark the beginning of a new relationship with our planet — one built on balance, sustainability, and awareness.
