Each month we will cover a new area of film funding mostly working from my book, The Art of Film Funding: Alternative Financing Concepts” and my second, right-brain book, “The Art of Manifesting: Creating your Future.” I found that you need both, your vision for the film and your
“to do” list for funding.
The call is interactive so you can ask questions about your film and funding. You can email ahead to time if you want to pitch your film on the call and let us all give you guidance and suggestions on what has worked for others. You may want to send me your proposal ahead of time and let me give you guidance on the call for all of us to learn together. I believe the teacher and the taught become the teaching and that’s the basis for the calls. You can ask for a specific subject to be discussed and send in questions ahead of time and I will accommodate all that I can during the 30 minute call. It will be recorded and sent to all of the filmmakers who sign up for the conference call. I just need you to send me an email to caroleDean@paradise.net.nz and I will add you to the list to be contacted about the time and date of the call. We discuss how to apply for grants and that includes my grants that will close 4/30 and 6/30/09. I will give something away on each call, either a book or a DVD of the Art of Film Funding or a CD on The art of Manifesting and a free consultation, so it can be rewarding as well as educational. |
